EICRs & ELECTRICAL TESTING
An EICR gives a complete inspection of your wiring including your sockets and consumer unit. Everything in this report will explain everything about your property and how urgently the issues need to be addressed.
An EICR would be helpful if you are considering purchasing an older property to understand the condition of the home. For rental properties within the UK, there is now a legal requirement that a satisfactory EICR is carried out every 5 years.
We send the report back to you with no technical jargon and no baseless horror stories about your property. If you do need to fix an issue, our electricians are fully qualified and happy to help. After we fix the issue we will reissue your certificate.

EV CHARGER INSTALLATION

Do I legally need an EICR?

Can you install any make of EV charger?
We install the major brands and will choose the best option for your charger based on your car and your driving habits. We check if your electrical supply supports additional load; some older homes require electrical upgrades. We inform you of electrical upgrade costs before we start the installation.
Are your electricians qualified to certify the work?
Absolutely. We have NICEIC registration and approval. Our electricians hold City & Guilds qualifications. For every job, we issue the relevant certification which may be an installation certificate for a rewire or a condition report for testing.
How long does a rewire take?
It takes about three days for smaller homes and as much as two weeks for larger homes. We take the rewiring process and your needs into consideration to develop a schedule that is as accurate as possible. Since we rewire room by room, we minimise the inconvenience caused by a complete power outage.
